  • Meet the Tutors »Open or Close

Schilling CTS Ltd. primary tutors are Benedicte Schilling and Simon Burton, both founders of the company back in 1994. Both are qualified Systemic Therapists registered with the AFT Register and the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). Their work as therapists, trainers, teachers, supervisors and coaches has been inspirational for numerous clients and professional services around Europe for more than 15 years. Both our tutors are committed to the belief that systemic approaches can and do enhance professional performance and offer solutions to clients using Mental Health and Social Care services that make a difference to the quality of their lives. Both tutors have experience of a broad range of Systemic practices.

It is the tutors belief that to be systemic the practitioner should embrace practices that fit both their organisation and the culture and nature of those they work with. Thus it is their preference to use a range of systemic approaches from the schools of social constructionist, constructivist, narrative, structural, strategic and multi-systemic practices. In taking this stance within a training or supervisory context they focus on the position, abilities and character of the trainee/supervisee, helping the trainee/supervisee develop a systemic range that suits them and embellishes their talents whilst complementing their organisation and client culture/cultures.
